Payment Terms:
UK Customers:
Besides PayPal i also accept the following payment methods for individual or combined winning lots, cheque's drawn on a UK bank, UK Postal Orders and to returning customers Direct Bank Transfer. Please remember to include the item number with your payment and remember cheques need to clear before your winning item(s) is dispatched. Please do not send cash!
International Customers:
I only accept payment by PayPal. Please ensure you have a PayPal account. If you don't you can sign up here by clicking on the following link and completing the registration form.
If you are unsure about payment arrangements please contact me before purchasing / bidding on my items.
All Customers:
Items must be paid for within 7 days of auction ending. I reserve the right to cancel sales if your payment is not made on time. The item will be re-listed and negative feedback may follow. If you would like to pay me later, i.e. to pay for multiple listings including "Snap it Up" and Auction listings that close over 7-day period, please let me know before you start bidding.
All Customers please wait for my confirmation email / personalised invoice (this will have your name in it) which i normally send out within 24 hours of item purchased or auction listing ending.
Please respond by email as soon as possible and no latter than 3 days of your purchase to confirm your payment method. If you are sending your payment by post, i must be in receipt of your payment within 7 days of your invoice date unless i have agreed to a prior arrangement. If you wish to combine payment for several lots please send notification after your first successful purchase.
If paying by PayPal, please do not make a payment until you have completed all your purchasing and you have received your combined invoice as i am unable to combine multiple winning items into one invoice after an individual payment has been made. Postage and packing:
Please note: On receipt of cleared payment, i will normally ship your item(s) within 2 business days. I may insist that shipping to countries outside the European Union, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is by International Signed For only.
Unless specified in the item description, all items are packed in a protective sleeve and sent with a stiffener or in a card-backed envelope by 1st Class Royal Mail to UK destinations, or by Standard Airmail to European and Oversea's destinations. I do not compromise on packaging and service quality. My postal charges incorporate those of Royal Mail’s and include a small charge for packing materials and handling.
Please see my postal charges, including secure packaging and handling below. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer a collection facility on any item - I dispatch all items direct to the address you have registered with Specialist Auctions. PayPal is the only on line payment service i accept.

Only available for combined weights over 250g. Charges for this service will be indicated in the item description and will be substantialy lower than Standard Air Mail charges.

Postal delivery times cannot be guaranteed. These are the guide times as provided by Royal Mail.
All UK destinations:
By 1st class postage quoted at 1-2 working days. 2nd class postage 1-3 working days.
European & Rest of World destinations:
Europe / EU - Royal Mail Air Mail 4-6 working days.
All destinations outside of the UK and Europe - Royal Mail Air Mail 6-10 working days.
Recorded Delivery and International Signed For:
IMPORTANT: Unless otherwise stated (below the item description) UK lots are mailed 1st Class and Overseas by Air Mail. A Royal Mail Certificate of Posting is always obtained and is deemed under these terms as proof of postage / despatch. My responsibility for delivery ends at the UK Post Office unless you the buyer exercise the option of paying for UK Recorded Delivery, UK Standard Parcels with "enhanced compensation" or International Signed For.
Recorded Delivery, Standard Parcels with "enhanced compensation" or International Signed For is for your peace of mind as well as protecting my business. In the unlikely event that a package does go missing, sent either by Recorded Delivery, Standard Parcels with "enhanced compensation" or International Signed For please contact me as soon as possible so I can offer you assistance with your claim.

My Level of Service to You:
I aim to offer an efficient, friendly service at affordable prices. All items are sold as described with further scans / photographic images available if requested. I offer a no quibble guarantee on all items that are “not as described“.
My Return’s Policy:
I offer a return's policy on all Philatelic and First Day Cover's / mint stamps / albums and binders / publications and accessories unless indicated in the item description, so long as they are returned in the same condition as received by you, including all packaging and accessories.
UK destinations: 14 days from invoice date.
Europe / Worldwide destinations: 21 days from invoice date.
My refund to you is limited to the following:- Purchase price and postage and packing. Return P&P is at buyers own expense. Please ensure suitable packing materials are used to avoid returned item becoming damaged in the postal system.
If however the item is returned because of 'Change of mind' then I reserve the right to levy an administration charge not less than 50% of the sale price. Please email me prior to returning an item clearly stating your reasons. In most cases, I will offer an amicable solution.
Please read my shipping terms noting that items sent by regular 1st Class Post / Standard Airmail is at buyer’s risk. When returning an item, proof of postage is highly advisable or send using recorded delivery service.
The following items are non-returnable (unless “not as described“ for any reason as indicated either in the title, description or images) used stamps (single's and sets / kiloware and whole collections/accumulations in albums or on stock sheets. Please contact me if the item you have purchased / won is not included in this list or the list above for acceptable return's.
All other items (non-philatelic) I offer a 7-day or 14-day return policy.

When you pay within the correct time and in the correct way, i will leave you quick, positive feedback. If i have not left you feedback within 3 days of your payment, please email me, because it will have been through an oversight and for no other reason.
Buyers & Sellers have an obligation to each other to resolve any disputes during the course of a transaction and to reach an amicable solution, thus avoiding the need to leave neutral or negative feedback, which is highly damaging to a member's reputation.
