Kickshaw is the new store space for Kickshawproductions, formerly of eBay. However, this store will be selling primarily vintage and antique clothing to benefit The Fashion History Museum in Cambridge, Ontario. This museum will open in a temporary gallery space the autumn of 2008 on Main street in the old town of Galt, now part of the larger city of Cambridge. The museum is currently looking for a permanent location to house its collection of over 8,000 clothing artifacts dating from the mid 17th century to the present day. Purchases and donations deemed not suitable for the permanent collection of the museum are sold to support the museum and its mandate: To be a vibrant, high calibre institution of international importance, for the study and display of historic fashions.
