I have an Lp which I got in a job lot by The Benjamin Delaney Lion (Roger Latham & Adrian Lewis) which I can find out nothing about. The front cover is black with what looks like an opening rose petal radiating light lines within a circle. The album name is either Satori or Satou, the Sato are clear but the last 1or 2 letters are difficult to make out..On the back is a black and white drawing of what looks like a chess board with flowers on the top with some of the pieces on the board, there is also a mirror image of it drawn as well. There is an acknowledgement to Wrekin college arts society. The tracks are listed side by side but one listing is lower than the other.

It is on the Hollick & Taylor label and the track listings have been hand written on both sides. The label colour is light blue. There is no year but I would guess it must be early 70s judging by the other Lps in the box.Any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't find much with the name. However, I don't know if this will help you or not - but you could try making contact with the people who wrote this article:

The Grosvenor label evolved naturally from Hollick & Taylor Studios - assembled in the home of Jean and John Taylor - John was a former BBC radio employee and constructed his own in-house set up to start out making classical recordings in 1960. Down the years Grosvenor Studios played host to the birthing of such pop-tastic moments as the Brighouse & Rastrick Brass Band's "Floral Dance" and Jasper Carrott's "Funky Moped".

Hollick & Taylor was used as an imprint for many private pressings; the slightly more formal Grosvenor Records did have a small level of distribution throughout the UK, but were still largely sold by mail order and live performances, with pressings runs of around two thousands copies.
