Hi Eric, sorry Im a little late in my reply,
I have been having a scout around and I have found that there are various different varieties of these coins. The value can be anything between 3 dollars to 25 dollars each, depending on the condition and variety of the coin.
As clocks has rightly stated, some photos of them would help greatly to give a more detailed valuation, if you would like us to investigate further, please feel free to add your pictures to this thread. Are they in mint condition in a boxed set I wonder?
I hope this information is of some help to you. I look forward to seeing the photos if you decide to investigate further.
Kind Regards Sophie xxx |

Hi Clocks and Heavenscent,
I had the coins looked at by a dealer who stated most were in just good condition and nothing in good enough condition for any real value.
So I gave them to my Grand Children so they could start a coin collection.
The dealer gave me a value of 500.00 for all of them.
Thanks to both of you for spending so much time on them, I greatly appeciate your help

Well, I have to admit that I spent almost no time - it is Sophie you have to thank for that! - But I am sure she will say you are welcome.. - A nice gesture to give them to your grand-children to start their colleting off... - I hope they make the most of it. Andrew

yes, as clocks says, you are very welcome. If I am honest though it didnt take me that long to find the information. Of course when photos can be studied then more lengthly research can be done, which can sometimes bring up some really exciting results as Andrew and I have, in the past, discovered.
I must say its lovely to hear what you have done with them. I couldnt think of a better ending really. I hope your gran children will enjoy their collection and add to it over the years.
I will say that the value of 500.00 for the collection sounds quite a positive one to me.
Well done.
kind regards Sophie xxx |
