Can anyone suggest a price the this clock. Its a wind up clock and keeps good time. The only markings on the outside is made in England and the letters ABE stamped on the wind up key.

ABE stands for All British Escapements - but I had not come across a complete clock made by them. the were widely used by Smiths Clocks. Do you know if it an 8-day or a 30-hour clock? And any chance of photos with rather less reflected light? If you can take the steel back off and upload a photo of the movement as well that would be a bonus. If it is what I think it is then you would probably not get more than £50 - £60 for it - but you would have to pay a lot more than that to buy it from a reputable dealer... The difference is due (as always!) to the cost of overhauling it /re-polishing it so the dealer could offer a guarantee
