Can anyone suggest a price the this clock. Its a wind up clock and keeps good time. The only markings on the outside is made in England and the letters ABE stamped on the wind up key.

| ABE stands for All British Escapements - but I had not come across a complete clock made by them. the were widely used by Smiths Clocks. Do you know if it an 8-day or a 30-hour clock? And any chance of photos with rather less reflected light? If you can take the steel back off and upload a photo of the movement as well that would be a bonus.
If it is what I think it is then you would probably not get more than £50 - £60 for it - but you would have to pay a lot more than that to buy it from a reputable dealer... The difference is due (as always!) to the cost of overhauling it /re-polishing it so the dealer could offer a guarantee |

Thank you very much for your reply. I will try and take some better photos shortly. I wound it up when I first posted this so I think it is a 30 clock
