Hello, I am John Vargas,
I am an avid Military Watch Collector.
Please use only the simple basics as to the Who, What, Where, and How Rule when listing Military Watches for Auction…
These rules do not apply to every seller, as some of you are doing a wonderful job, and I truly love your listings!
However, for some of you, please follow these simple rules and guidelines.
- The watch, and specific details, related only to the watch being sold.
- If Redialed then mention, that it is a Redialed Watch.
- If Recently Serviced then mention last Service Date.
- Any modifications or restorations to the watch.
- If referencing the watch as one maker (Branded), but claiming the movement to being another (Contract) post references (links, etc...), and other factual evidence, if the Swiss Code is on the Movement, then show a detailed close up of the Movement Code so that it can easily be cross-referenced.
- Close ups of any flaws or defects.
- If you are a dealer, mention warranty, and return policy.
- No speculation on watches, only facts.
- No stock photos, only actual photos of the watch being sold.
- Treat, and sell your watches, as you would want to be treated and how you would like to buy a watch, short and sweet, and with integrity. In other words, take the guesswork/detective work out of auction, and make it easy for buyers to buy with confidence.
We at specialistauctions.com want only authentic, verifiable, with no "fluff" added auctions, which are easy for both buyer and seller.
The point of specialistauctions.com, is to have the buyer be 100% confident that what they are purchasing is correct, and the seller to have an impeccable trust factor and reputation.
Regards,
John Vargas
